Updates Galore
Welcome to the post where I catch up on telling you all everything that has been going on behind the scenes as I have been working hard in my writing cave. First of all, The Unseelie Heir's Claim is officially finished the rough draft stage. Coming in at over 80,000 words, it is definitely a novel, not a novella, which seems fitting for the ending of a series. The release date is October 16th, and the book is making its way through the editing process, right on schedule.
The Unseelie throne is in crisis, and the whole Wild Wood is in an uproar as the hunt is on for the missing heir. Kent is aware of the news, and even the humans just beyond the borders of fae land have heard rumors. He didn’t think it had anything to do with him. But then he comes home to a Dullahan in his mother’s kitchen claiming Kent is the lost heir.
Rue doesn’t belong. Left on the doorstep of the foundling home as a baby, she only knows she has some fae blood. Now an adult, she hides her differences from the humans beneath a quiet demeanor. But that doesn’t stop her from seeing magical things, like a glowing crown on the head of her new friend.
The Unseelie Heir’s Claim is a light, fantasy romance novella about a relationship between an Unseelie and a fae of mixed blood. It features a reluctant lost heir, fated mates, and a romance between a noble and a servant, all played out against a backdrop of the peril, politics, and uncertainty of the Unseelie Court in crisis.

What is next?
Dragons! I am already almost 13,000 words into the next novel in the Dragons of Reverie series, Cursed Dragon.
Here are some hints about the fun ahead:
A trio of cats bent on chaos
Gremlins intent on causing trouble
A grumpy recluse of a dragon
A genie cook
And a mute heroine who doesn't need her voice to sass people
All that said, when I am not writing and working on publishing, I am brainstorming what comes after my grumpy dragon and mute heroine. I need a new series to replace the Courts in Conflict series. Any preferences?
